These raw coconut balls are amazing and super easy to make. Most of all, you get protein in every bite. I love having these after a hard workout or as a pick-me-up midday snack. Don’t get tempted by those over-process snacks out. Treat your body right and fuel it with something good. They are so tasty that you will want to gobble them up while making them. So gather your ingredients and let’s make some of these delicious goodies!
2 teaspoons hemp seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
2 tablespoons cacao powder
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons shredded unsweetened coconut flakes
1 cup nut butter (almond, cashew, sunflower, tahini)
Combine the nut butter, vanilla extract, maple syrup and cacao powder together into a bowl and mix together thoroughly using the back of a spoon. Mixing until everything is moist and evenly combined.
In another bowl, mix the hemp seeds, chia seeds and coconut flakes together.
Divide into eight tablespoon sized balls and roll them into the coconut mixture.
Place them in the fridge for a hour or enjoy them immediately.
